Note 1: The actual amount of tuition paid is based on the tuition fees announced by NCKU and Purdue University for the current academic year.

*Note 2: Tuition paid during NCKU (Freshman year-Junior year ), including all required elective courses in this group, Purdue online courses, intensive teaching by Purdue University professors, and Purdue University summer intensive short courses (individuals). Personal Expenses: Airfare, visa fees, accommodation, and meals are to be covered by the student.

Scholarships

NCKU-Purdue Dual Degree Program Scholarship for Outstanding Domestic Students

  • Eligibility

Domestic students admitted to the NCKU BS - Purdue MS Dual Degree Programs through the Individual Applications or Advanced Subjects Test (AST).

  • Quota

For the dual-degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, up to 25% of the admitted students in each program will be selected. For the dual-degree programs in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Geomatics, and Environmental Engineering, up to 25% of the total admitted students — with a maximum of two awardees — will be selected.

  • Award Amount

Up to NTD 200,000 per year in tuition and miscellaneous fee waivers. (Distributed by semester; eligibility for renewal from the second semester onward is subject to meeting academic performance requirements.)

  • Selection Criteria

Each participating department in this program will establish a review committee to evaluate admitted students from all admission channels and select outstanding incoming students for the scholarship award based on academic merit. (From the second semester onward, recipients must meet the relevant academic performance requirements to maintain eligibility for the scholarship.) Students who defer enrollment or forfeit their admission status will have their scholarship eligibility revoked. If none of the admitted students meet the review standards set by the departmental review committee, the scholarship positions may be left vacant.
